Abstract
The deficit of Mm (mist metal) in the MmNi(5+/-delta) alloys leads to degradation of their service properties: an increase In the incubation period of hydrogenation, deceleration of the primary hydrogen absorpt ion, and necessity of a large number of absorption-desorption cycles f or the attainment of a constant pressure in the plateau region.
