Abstract
Tumoral calcinosis is a distinct clinicopathological entity characteri zed by periarticular soft-tissue calcium deposits. It is a rare condit ion in Tunisia (8 cases during 23 years). Six patients were aged 14 ye ars or younger. There was male predominance (SR: 7/1). Lesions were lo cated about the hip in five patients and the elbow in three patients. Multiple localisations occured in two patients. Histologically, all ca ses exhibited active phase of the disease. In our patients lesions wer e only surgically excised.
