(IV), Er(DDTC)(3) (V), and Er(DIBDTC)(3) (VI) (HFA, PTFA, DDTC, and D
IBDTC are the hexafluoroacetylacetonate, pivaloyltrifluoroacetonate, d
iethyldithiocarbamate, and diisobutyldithiocarbamate anions, respectiv
ely; HMPA is hexamethylphosphoramide, DME is 1,2-dimethoxyethane, and
DMSO is dimethyl sulfoxide) were studied by mass spectrometry. On the
basis of fragmentation patterns, probable mechanisms of thermal decomp
osition of rare-earth beta-diketonate adducts are proposed.
