Abstract
Consequences of abandonment are studied on riparian wet grasslands in Jet catchment. Analysis of phytosociological and phytoecological data using canonical analysis shows four dynamic steps, each characterized by arrangements of differential species. Whereas floristic composition is changing during the first 20 years of abandonment, species richnes s and edaphic variables remain unchanged.
