Abstract
A theory of weak localization responsible for the negative magnetoresi stance effect is developed for quantum wells at the <(10(1)over bar 0) > tellurium surface, which retains, in contrast to the ((1) over bar2$ <(1)over bar 0)> surface considered earlier, a trigonal spectrum disto rtion with opposite signs near the M and P extrema, with the latter pl aying the part of states with opposite spins. It is shown that as a re sult of the motion in momentum and spin spaces being correlated the sp in relaxation due to this distortion is smaller than that for the (000 1) surface.
