Abstract
Monoperoxo complexes of V(V) with tetradentate N,O heteroligands (nitr ilotriacetato (nta(3-)), N-(carbamoylmethyl)iminodiacetato (ada(2-)), N-(carbamoylethyl)iminodiacetato (ceida(2-))) were prepared and their thermal, IR and V-51-NMR spectral properties were studied. X-ray analy sis revealed a pentagonal bipyramidal structure of the complex anions. The reactivity of the complexes in oxygen transfer reactions from van adium complex to the thiolatoCo(III) complex increases in the order: [ VO(O-2)ada](-) < [VO(O-2)nta](2-) < [VO(O-2)ceida](-).
