Abstract
The effect of two structural types of carboxylatocopper(II) compounds upon photosynthetic apparatus and photosynthetic electron transport in spinach chloroplasts was investigated. The studied compounds differed each from other by the type of acidoligands. Simple carboxylatocopper (II) complexes were pronouncedly more effective inhibitors (by one or two orders) than the cupric chelates of Schiff bases of N-salicylidene aminoalkanoate type.
