Abstract
The reaction of Zn(II) with 3-(2'-hydroxyphenyl)iminoxindole has been studied in various media and wide concentration range. The methanol so lution of reagent and ammonia buffer of pH 8.1-8.3 were found to be th e best of all examined media. 3-(2'-Hydroxyphenyl) iminoxindole may be used for the determination of Zn(II) in the range of 0.1-8 mu g.ml(-1 ).
