Ca1-xCux(PO3)(2) glasses were prepared by two different methods - by t
he reaction of H3PO4 with CaCO3 and CuO or by the reaction of NH4H2PO4
with CaO and CuO with the following calcination and melting at 1200 d
egrees C. The samples prepared from phosphoric acid had their composit
ion shifted toward diphosphates. The effect of composition on the ther
mal behaviour of glassy samples (glass transformation, crystallization
) and the structure of crystalline samples were investigated by the in
frared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction.
