Abstract
Theoretical calculations of the amount of Ni coating on Fe powder part icles is based on the assumption of distribution of charge between the surface of the solid cathode and that of powder particles present in the working volume of the electrolyte. The course of theoretical and e xperimental curves is identical. The efficiency of the process on part icles is however rather low due to the inhibition of the coating by th e hydroxocomplexes formed during electrolysis.
