Abstract
Catalytic tests together with an ISEC characterisation are reported on palladium catalysts supported over DOWEXes (4 mole % crosslinked). Th e stability of catalysts under low pressure of hydrogen (up to 0.5 MPa ) and ambient temperature is demonstrated. If higher pressure of hydro gen and higher temperatures are applied (more than 50 degrees C), hydr ogenolysis of the support occurs, which results in lowering of the cat alyst activity.
