Inflation requires the presence of fields (inflatons) with very flat p
otentials. Models of low-energy supersymmetry (SUSY) breaking yield ne
w candidates for the inflaton field. We present a simple model for slo
w-rollover inflation where the vacuum energy driving inflation is rela
ted to the scale of supersymmetry breaking among ordinary particles. T
his opens the possibility of gaining possible knowledge about SUSY dyn
amics from measurements of the microwave background. Gravitinos do not
pose a cosmological problem, while the moduli problem is ameliorated.
