Abstract
Three conagenin analogs modified at 3'-carbon centre and their diaster eoisomers at position C-2 were synthesized. The synthesis of the acyla ting carboxylic acids 13, 22 and 33 having stereotriads were elaborate d starting from D-xylose performing stereoselective reactions. (C) 199 7 Elsevier Science Ltd.
