Abstract
The crystal structure of a natural tilasite, CaMg(AsO4)F, a = 6.681(2) angstrom, b = 8.950(2) angstrom, c = 7.573(2) angstrom and beta = 121 .14(2)degrees, Z = 4 from Nezilovo, Macedonia, was refined from X-ray single crystal data in space group C2/c to R = 2.79%. The results clea rly indicate that this tilasite crystallizes in the centric space grou p C2/c and not in Cc as assumed for the sample from Bisbee, Arizona.
