Abstract
This paper reports the first observation of a tricapped trigonal prism atic EuO(H2O)(8) site containing one anion O and eight aqua O atoms in K-2[Eu(H2O)(8)](3)H-3[(GeTi3W9O37)(2)O-3].13H(2)O. Each half of the [ (GeTi3W9O37)(2)O-3](14-) anion, which exhibits almost the same structu re as the anion in K9H5[(GeTi3W9O37)(2)O-3].16H(2)O, is coordinated by either three Eu3+ or two K+ atoms.
