Abstract
A stable mould construction ensures that the part is very accurate and keeps mould wear very low. With the increasing use of hot-runner moul ds for such applications, it is necessary to ensure thar the hot-runne r has as little influence as possible on mould stability and heat bala nce. This requirement is more than satisfied by the use of internally heated hot-runner systems.
