Abstract
In order to increase the rate of materials discovery and optimization, as well as increase our understanding of increasingly complex modem m aterials, we have developed the strategyies and technologies for the c ombinatorial synthesis and evaluation of functional materials. In this approach large collections (libraries) of different materials are rap idly synthesized, processed and screened for specific properties of in terest.
