Abstract
We report on high quality junctions fabricated from c-axis-oriented NB CO/PBCO/NBCO multilayers. The current-voltage characteristics (CVC) ex hibit supercurrent and quasi-particle tunneling that is commonly obser ved for superconductor-insulator-superconductor (SIS) junctions. Our r esults show the importance of using barrier layer materials of PBCO sa ndwiched between NBCO electrodes for the fabrication of electronic dev ices.
