Abstract
We have studied the zero bias anomaly in conductance of a normal metal - d-wave superconductor junction in the presence of a Kondo-like magne tic impurity. In contrast to the conventional wisdom, the Kondo-like m agnetic scattering effect is quite similar to the effect of nonmagneti c scattering. This result shows that the zero bias anomaly due to the d-wave pairing symmetry can survive even though the spin-flip process during the tunneling of quasiparticles is involved.
