Ll. Makarshin et al., MAGNETICALLY DEPENDENT ADSORPTION OF OXYGEN ON SUPERCONDUCTING ADSORBENT, Physica. C, Superconductivity, 282, 1997, pp. 1609-1610
There were investigated the adsorptional properties of the superconduc
ting powder of yttrium ceramics YBa2Cu3O7-delta in external magnetic f
ield in the region of temperatures of superconducting transition. Argo
n and oxygen were as adsorbates. Oxygen adsorption was found to be abn
ormal. The specific surface of the superconducting adsorbent for oxyge
n appeared to depend dramatically on temperature and magnitude of the
external magnetic field. These phenomena seem to be connected with the
repulsion of paramagnetic oxygen molecules from diamagnetic surface o
f the adsorbent.
