Abstract
Two coupled CuO2 layers in the high-Tc superconductors is investigated by using the bilayer Hubbard model and the fluctuation exchange appro ximation. We find that the planes are antiferromagnetically correlated leading to increasing magnetic interactions and to a strongly enhance d shadow band formation for low doping.
