Abstract
The energy spectrum and wave functions are studied for an NxN cluster in a system with one hole and one flipped spin. The calculation is mad e for given values of the total quasimomentum <(alpha)over right arrow > of the system. A system of four nonlinear algebraic equations for de termining the energy levels of the system is obtained The analysis is restricted to the simplest case alpha(x)=alpha(y)=(0,pi).
