A. Mishima, EFFECT OF ELECTRON-LATTICE INTERACTION ON THE BOUND-STATES IN THE PEIERLS D-P MODEL, Physica. C, Superconductivity, 282, 1997, pp. 1769-1770
The bound states of p holes are investigated within the Peierls d-p mo
del. The binding energy of p holes is computed as a function of electr
on-lattice interaction within the mean-field theory with periodic boun
dary conditions. It is negative, as a result, p holes pair in a single
t state. It turns out that electron-lattice interaction is important i
n the electronic states of the high-T-c, cuprates.
