Abstract
A variety of experimental, evidence has confirmed the presence of a ps eudogap in the high T-c cuprate superconductors. Monte Carlo simulatio ns using a planar 2-band model with a local pairing interaction are us ed to produce a temperature vs hole doping phase diagram. The simulate d diagram is in good qualitative and quantitative agreement with avail able experimental data.
