Within the Eliashberg theory we present an analysis of the electron-ph
onon coupling in the compound Ba0.7K0.3BiO3 This analysis has been car
ried out evaluating the isotope coefficient (alpha), using the Rainer
and Culetto approach and the electron-phonon spectra alpha(2)(omega)F(
omega) as calculated by Shirai et al. for the oxide superconductor Ba0
.7K0.3BiO3 With numerical calculations of some important BCS-ratios an
d the analysis of the isotope coefficient in this bismuthate, we outli
ned the importance of the electron-phonon coupling in this oxide super
conductor.
