The nature of pairing mechanism and T-c of HgBa2CuO4+delta (delta appr
oximate to 0.18, T-c approximate to 95 K) have been studied by using f
ree electron layered electron gas (FELEG) approach which peoperly inco
rporates the unified effects of strong Coulomb correlations, electron
- phonon and electron - plasmon interactions. The plasmons provide an
additional pairing. Furthermore, Tc mainly arises from plasmon mechani
sm.
