Abstract
The quasiparticle properties of d(x2-y2)-wave superconductor near the rough surfaces is calculated using extended Hubbard model. Here, we ca lculate the local density of states (LDOS) near the surface with atomi c-scale roughness, and investigate the correlation between the appeara nce of the zero energy states (ZES) and the surface roughness. In orde r to obtain the energy spectrum of quasiparticles, or LDOS, a numerica l method is developed which is suitable to treat the disorder in the a tomic-scale order length.
