THE SYNTHESIS OF MOLECULAR-SIEVES FROM NONAQUEOUS SOLVENTS

Molecular sieves are important in many industrial processes and their synthesis has been the focus of much research, In addition to the trad itional synthetic methods based on aqueous media there is a growing bo dy of work describing preparations using non-aqueous solvents. This re view will summarise some of the results of this work in the areas of z eolite, aluminophosphate and gallophosphate synthesis.
