H. Imao et al., EFFECT OF PREPARATION CONDITIONS ON THE GROWTH OF BI-BASED SUPERCONDUCTING SINGLE-CRYSTALS, Physica. C, Superconductivity, 282, 1997, pp. 473-474
High quality 2212-phase Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O superconducting single crystals
were prepared by a self-flux method using three kinds of starting powd
ers, and adding holding process to cooling process in crystal growth.
From the results, we found that 2212-phase single crystals were prepar
ed at the cooling rate of 3 degrees C/h by adding a temperature holdin
g process. The sizes of the crystals were nearly equal to those of the
crystals prepared at the cooling rate of 1 degrees C/h.
