The T-type La1-xPrxGd0.8Sr0.2CuOz (0 less than or equal to x less tha
n or equal to 1, z similar to 4) were prepared by complex polymerizati
on method and the relation between superconductivity and the structure
was discussed. It can be considered that the rise of Cu ion from [CuO
4/2] plane is responsible for superconductivity in this system.
