Abstract
The effects of Cd ion on the formation, electric properties and superc onductivity of Pb-3222 phase Pb2Sr2(Nd,Ce)(2)Cu3O2 compounds have been studied. It is found that Cd can enter into Pb or Cu sites to promote the Pb-3222 phase formation, and improve the electric properties of s amples. The location of Cd also affect the resistivity differently.
