Abstract
Theory of Brillouin light scattering, neutron scattering and X-ray dif fusive diffraction by acoustic modes in cuprates Nd2CuO4 and Pr2CuO4 i s considered. The effect of the additional soundlike collective mode, observed experimentally by acoustic methods [1,2], is discussed.
