Abstract
In this note we investigate spatial bounds for the heat conduction equ ation with three relaxation times. We use energy methods similar to th ose considered in the study of the backward parabolic heat equation. F inally, we show that for any positive choice of the coefficients we ma y take initial data for which the solution is unstable when we suppose that the body is bounded. (C) 1997 by B. G.
