N. Jain et B. Brown, DISPERSION CHARACTERISTICS OF MICROSTRIP TRANSMISSION-LINE ON GLASS MICROWAVE ICS, IEEE microwave and guided wave letters, 7(10), 1997, pp. 344-346
Measurement of the effective dielectric constant of microstrip transmi
ssion line on glass for the frequency range of 5-35 GHz are presented.
These measurements indicate that there is very little dispersion in 2
00-mu m-thick glass for frequencies up to 35 GHz. Further, electromagn
etic analysis shows that the dielectric constant of glass changes from
4.05 to 4.00 when the frequency varies from 5 to 35 GHz, somewhat com
pensating for the dispersion.
