Abstract
The present review critically summarizes some of the recent work on va rious newer antithrombotic drugs for secondary prophylactic use in myo cardial infarction and other arterial thromboembolic disorders, includ ing percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty and cardiopulmonary bypass, and cerebral stroke. It also focuses on current trends in the development of more selective and potent antiplatelet agents for myoc ardial infarction.
