3-PHASE TC-99(M) (V)DMSA SCINTIGRAPHY IN PAGETS-DISEASE - AN INDICATOR OF PAMIDRONATE EFFECT

The use of three phase Tc-99(m) (V)DMSA scintigraphy is reported in a patient with Paget's disease of bone before and after intravenous pami dronate therapy. It was a useful modality for estimating the activity of Pagetoid lesions and the therapeutic effect of pamidronate, from a different aspect to bone scintigraphy. Three phase Tc-99(m) (V)DMSA sc intigraphy evaluates both the blood flow and the metabolic activity of Pagetoid bone.
