INFORMATICS IN VETERINARY MEDICAL-RESEARCH

A systematic analysis of information-related processes relevant to the processing of projects in veterinary medical research and consumer he alth protection was conducted using an application-oriented model appr oach. A local area-network based processing system for scientific lite rature searches and retrievals sewed as art example to outline the int errelations involved. A brief assessment of current trends in the use of information in veterinary science is given.
