Abstract
Selective fluorescence quenching of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbon (P AH): application to liquid chromatography. Fluorescence quenching by d issolved oxygen on aromatic compounds, determined by liquid chromatogr aphy coupled to fluorescence detection, has been investigated. Based o n the fluorescence extinction coefficients and on the Stern-Volmer con stants of aromatic compounds, the specific behaviour of each individua l compound is explained.
