The transmission characteristics of a one-dimensional quasiperiodic la
ttice have been investigated. The transfer matrix method has been used
to calculate numerically the transmission coefficient Tof a Kronig-Pe
nney model on a quasiperiodic lattice with lattice intervals arranged
according to the Fibonacci sequence. T has been studied as a function
of the wave number k, length L of the sample and the strength xi of th
e delta-function potential. Study reveals a rich structure for the tra
nsmission properties of the system. It has been found that although fo
r almost every k, T-->0 at large lengths, there are special energies w
here T-->1 for large lengths depending on the value of xi.
