Abstract
Charge storage properties of pure and titanium dioxide (TiO2) doped po lystyrene were studied using thermally stimulated current (TSC) and th ermally stimulated charge decay (TSCD) methods. The optimum increase i n T-1/2 (28 degrees C) was obtained at 3 wt% of TiO2 doping level. The TSC spectra were also modified by TiO2 doping, giving rise to high te mperature peak at 140 degrees C. These studies show that charge storag e stability enhances with TiO2 doping. However doping with phenylene d iamine (PD) reduces the charge storage stability.
