Charge storage properties of pure and titanium dioxide (TiO2) doped po
lystyrene were studied using thermally stimulated current (TSC) and th
ermally stimulated charge decay (TSCD) methods. The optimum increase i
n T-1/2 (28 degrees C) was obtained at 3 wt% of TiO2 doping level. The
TSC spectra were also modified by TiO2 doping, giving rise to high te
mperature peak at 140 degrees C. These studies show that charge storag
e stability enhances with TiO2 doping. However doping with phenylene d
iamine (PD) reduces the charge storage stability.
