THE PATHOLOGY OF HEMOSTASIS SYSTEM AND THE POSSIBILITIES OF ITS THERAPEUTIC CORRECTION IN ACUTE ISCHEMIC STROKE

The indices of blood haemostasis adequately reflecting the state of co agulative, fibrinolytic, anticoagulative and platelet aggregation syst ems were examined in 150 patients with acute ischemic stroke. The four haemostasiological syndromes such as hyperaggregation, hypercoagulati on, depressed fibrinolysis, hypercoagulation and three types of thromb ophilias were distinguished and described in detail. The special featu res of coagulopathic disorders depending on etiology, severity and str oke onset period were characterized. The authors developed some recomm endations on selective medical correction of haemostatic disorders in acute period of brain infarction.
