Spawn from China was cultivated in Japan in bottles filled with a medi
um composed of Japanese oak sawdust, wheat bran, and corn bran. The sp
awn was incubated at 60-70% to 80-90% humidity and temperature ranges
of 17-24 degrees C and 17-18 degrees C with aeration for about 35 days
. Fruiting bodies were grown in a culture room maintained at 95-98% hu
midity and temperature range of 15-16 degrees C with aeration for abou
t 5 days.
