Abstract
Based on the literature data and our own experimental results, we prop ose a consistent procedure of plotting boundary curves of melting and boiling for carbon. The triple point parameters are predicted, which a re markedly different from those adopted at present: pressure, P-tr si milar or equal to 1 bar; temperature, T-tr similar or equal to 4000 K.
