Abstract
A gas chromatographic method with mass-selective detection was develop ed for the identification of nine leather preservatives based on pheno lic, chlorinated phenolic and heterocyclic compounds. The application of this method to the identification and confirmation of the active in gredients present in commercial formulations is described.
