Abstract
An eight-year-old male Siamese cat was presented with signs of mild an orexia, slow weight loss, hair pulling with irregular areas of alopeci a and occasional vomiting. Conservative antibiotic therapy provided on ly a temporary resolution of clinical signs and blood analysis was equ ivocal. Positive contrast radiographic markers (B.I.P.S.(1)) were used to diagnose a partial obstruction within the small intestine. A lapar otomy was performed, involving an enterectomy of an area of jejunum af fected by a fibrous annular mass causing stucture of the intestine. Hi stopathology indicated a malignant adenocarcinoma of the jejunum with a grave prognosis.
