Measures of stability of speech communication systems with respect to
individual peculiarities of announcers are proposed. An algorithm for
the classification of speech phonemes based on optimal orthogonal expa
nsions is obtained. An effective test of selection of the base vectors
is considered. This test allows one to obtain 0.96 probability of rec
ognition of phonemes in the bounded space of attributes.
