Abstract
We consider an elastic structure formed by two plates (called the adhe rents) Omega(-) and Omega(+) and by an adhesive material Omega(m). We denote by epsilon d the thickness of the layer filled by the adhesive and we suppose that the stiffness of the adhesive is of order epsilon( p), 0 less than or equal to p, With respect to that of the adherents. By an asymptotic analysis we demonstrate the different limit problems. The type of transmission condition depends on p.
