H. Ihara et al., HOW TO MAKE SUPERCONDUCTING-ANISOTROPY LEAST IN HIGH-TC CUPRATE SUPERCONDUCTORS, Physica. C, Superconductivity, 282, 1997, pp. 1973-1974
The guiding principles to reduce superconducting-anisotropy were deriv
ed for high-T-c cuprate superconductors. Based on the principles, we h
ave attained the least superconducting-anisotropy gamma=1.6 for a Cu-b
ased CuBa2Ca3Cu4O12-gamma (Cu-1234) superconductor. Further lower supe
rconducting-anisotropy has been proposed for Cu-1245 (gamma=1.3) and C
u-1256 (gamma congruent to 1.0) Cu-based superconductors.
