C. Kawabata, ON THE RELATION BETWEEN ANISOTROPIC 3D-XY JOSEPHSON-JUNCTION ARRAY MODEL AND LAYERED HIGH T-C CUPRATE SUPERCONDUCTORS/, Physica. C, Superconductivity, 282, 1997, pp. 1999-2000
We modeled the ceramic high Te materials as a quantum-capacitive Josep
hson-junction array, with weakly coupled superconducting grains on a 3
D lattice and Angstrom-scale parameters. We studied that Josephson-jun
ction coupling energy via Cooper pair tunneling within and between CuO
2 layers enhances the critical temperature Te for layered cuprate supe
rconductors, while the charge coupling energy for the capacitance betw
een CuO2 layers depresses the critical temperature Tc. We argue the hi
gh Te superconductive glass behavior from Monte Carlo simulation of hi
ghly anisotropic 3D-XY/JJA model with frustration (vector potential) a
nd bonding disorder (probability).
