Abstract
Influence of columnar defects on the interlayer Josephson coupling in the vortex state of Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+delta is studied by Josephson plasma resonance. The introducing the columnar defects changes the interlaye r phase coherence drastically. We provide a strong evidence that the v ortex-line-liquid is formed by the columnar defects.
